U-boat Skipper, c. 1942

[Canoehead]

Hi all - just finished this one; YOUNG miniatures 1/10 bust of a U-boat Commander c. 1942. I opted to go with the grey leather coat instead of the box art’s black and added the scratch built pipe after seeing another version of this bust (couldn’t determine the modeler’s name, however). Paint is the usual oils and acrylics:

Thanks everyone - much appreciated. It’s an older piece from Young but they are still superb sculpts with excellent personalities and details - plenty of room for “personalizing” as well. Not that it hasn’t stopped me from just ordering Young’s recently - released Joan of Arc - watch this space…
