Good Day All,

This is the second figure I have completed for a small vignette, I am starting. I have this figure mostly completed with the exception of the weathering. That will come when I mount it to the base. It is a 1/35 scale figure from Alpine Miniatures. If you see anything that needs addressed please let me know. I used a lot more red in the flesh than I normally use. I am not sure how it looks to others, but I kind of like the tone I achieved.

Thanks for looking,
Rusty

That's some really nice work on that machine gunner. Only two things jump out at me that you may want to correct. The first is the chin strap that is fixed at the back of the helmet. The color should be a light khaki similar to what you used for the pistol belt and gas mask bag. The liner chin strap that is fixed on the front visor of the helmet is a russet brown leather and you have that correct. Lastly, I suggest you add some deeper shadow to the gunners left arm. Specifically the area between the inner arm and the torso. You have a sharp looking figure and I look forward to seeing the final vignette.

Joe,

Thanks for the feedback. I will get on those two areas next time I am at the bench. Now that you have pointed out the helmet strap, I wonder how many other US soldiers I have missed that on.
