Here's the pictures of the completed bust, I've really enjoyed the challenge with this one as it's my first attempt at sculpting a dog and an American helmet, hopefully both to a reasonable level. I made the dog more puppy like by enlargeing the ears, face and body.
Many thanks for looking and I welcome all and any comments .

Cheers Ken

Well done Ken and congratulations.
The Asian type are very well reproduced and the little dog are superb.(y)

great little sculpt,

such a pleasure to see the human side of a medic; you have done justice to the original photographers shot, IMO.

The dog looks nice animated, even while being nursed for the photo, and I think you would be hard pressed to capture the expression on his face.

Bravo!

Ken you nailed this one mate with both the Asian face and the dog, both look great. Looks like you had a good time with this one.

All the best mate

Hi Ken

You created a "LIFE" Bust. The piece is full of character and holding the doggy is just put a different perspective in this bust and it is ASIAN..ha ha love it...how many Asian face do we see in Bust...totally great

Ken,
i am always amazed at how well you capture the essense of a character and this pair is no exception.i must say that WW2 M1 helmets are difficult to sculpt beause of their subtle curves and shape ,maybe a little more work on the helmet perhaps.
Look forward to its completion
Andy
