Fantastic Gordon. Great action & animation, and a refreshing change from all the tin-hatted trench-warfare stuff that seems to make up the bulk of WWI releases.

Superb piece Gordon. Great sense of action captured by Carl and a great change as Steve said to see something capturing those very early days of the War.

Hi Gordon,

I like this very much, it really is a stunning miniature, only thing I would change about this is that the two soldiers just look too similar (weight, height, uniform, backpack, belt etc.) - maybe one of them could lose a backpack or somethnig :).

Hi Guys

Another great action packed piece from Carl and Grod

Agree with Steve about seeing something early war period

Would love to see a bust of the Uhlan ? ...I live in hope !

Look forward to seeing some painted versions

Thanks for sharing

Hello Joey
It's something you would have to convert yourself as the piece is already in production.

Very nice but...since Mr.Reid sculpts faster than I can paint this will have to wait a while.
First on my list is his WW1 "Over the top"

Mine arrived this morning in the post and ive only had a brief look at it but from what I can see, particularly the Irish guardsmen, they look superb. Can’t wait to get going on them.

It is always interesting and fascinating to see how one period gets hold on our community for a while. WW1 seem to be just like that at the moment.
There are many interesting WW1 miniatures out there, but it is even more nice that there is a steady flow of multiple figures arranged in captivating actions depicting the Great War. This one is a great example of that. Great sculpting by Carl Reid.
