Here's a pic of my first resin fig (work in progress) I don't have a camera so the fig had to be laid down and scanned!
Thanks for the help I recieved ref. priming.

Looking good so far, Roger. Keep us updated.

I saw this figure on a vendor table at Chicago and I was going to pick him up before the show ended. But on my return he was gone! There's a lesson to be learned.

Looks great Roger! I'm also a big fan of Jon's work. His attention to detail in his sculpting is without equal, in my opinion. And his kits are always 'very good value for money'. All the ones I've bought included brief written descriptions of the references, complete breakdowns of the uniforms and equipment and some illustrations used to make the figure and some include spare or alternate parts.

All the best,
Dan

Dan this is the first Jon Smith figure I have done. I am enjoying painting it immensely I also like figures to have plenty of notes and refs.
It's my birthday saturday and my wife has the 120mm Bavarian Infantryman hidden away somewhere.
This will be my first 120mm figure, the largest I've done before has been 90mm so it should be fun.

Roger.

Great figure so far. You asked what your regimental monogram should be. The uniform for figure represents a M-1907 ulanka. You have several piping colors you can select (red, maroon, white, yellow or (my favorite) white/meduim blue) The numbers or cyphers on the pear-shaped boards will be in red.

Regards

Dave
