Thank you Mike for your comments I have always admired your work over the years and have been very much inspired by it. Your opinion is very much respected.
The gold on the metal parts is Vallejo Liquid Gold, Rich Gold,it is alcohol based. I usually use inks for the metal work,but heard someone say these paints were very good ,and I have to agree.This is the first figure that I have used it on. I used the Tamiya alcohol based acrylics to shade it with.

I have never heard of the Vallejo rich gold. Most acrylic metallics i have seen fall far short of ideal. I will have to get some of that stuff!
