I have this fine Union Bugler, 1863, figure by TFB:

In this thread, there was some discussion from when on this 11" (?) bugle has been in service, some said that is was probably used only later in the war, later than 1863, and during the plains wars, but the knowledgeable people had not yet checked their references.
Is there more information, in the meantime, from when on this bugle has been used?
