Box Art always seems to help when releasing a new figure wether its a bust or a full model so its my pleasure to show you the box art from one of the new releases due out from UP Miniaturen namely Frederick the Great depicted when he played the transverse flute in his music room at Sanssouci (this event was painted by Adolph Von Menzel in 1852)
The artist who has painted it is SUZANNE ZAHAJKO , who if you like flats will reconise the name and know her to be a top class painter , why not google Kulmbach and I am sure you will see her work in many reports of the show
I have included a picture of one of the lady herself and a flat seen at Kulmbach
The latest release due to coincide with the 300th Anniversary is :

Suzanne has captured the face of Frederick really well, there looks to be some really nice lacework that Ulrich has sculpted , all of which is nicely represented both by the sculpting and brought out by the painting , some nice shading and highlighting on the blue of the coat and the reds .
I also like the way that the flute has been painted with the ivory ends and the wooden piece ,
Its always nice to see the artist alongside her work ,I congratulate Suzanne on this piece and I look forward to seeing more .
