Hello, everyone! Today I am posting my wife's (and art director of our books) 3rd attempt in military figures (6th in total). I am trying to give her my knowledge, but she resists, because she prefers fantasy themes. :blackeye:

It was painted with Vallejo Acrylics and Field Grey paint set from Andrea. It is a Pegaso Figure from Platoon series 1/35 (PT-042). The snow is from Deluxe Materials. The wooden base is from the Greek company "Modelbases".

It took her about 4-5 hours to paint it. Preparation, cleaning and assembly are not included, because she is an artist and refuses to do it. So, I am her humble assistant to that. :nailbiting:

Enjoy!

Stelios, never go in debat with your wife, she can make you waiving ;)
For the third attempt is a very good.
Maybe tell here in a subtle way that the highlighting and shading good be done better. But with the accent on SUBTLE.
The next terrain could have some more waves. It all looks now white tarmac.

Marc

Marc, the night before I got Married my future Father-in-Law took me to one side and said:

'I will tell you the secret of a happy marriage. Whatever you do from now, its wrong.'

Then he added 'and buy yourself a shed' ;)

That's good work Marc, your wife has a good eye.

My daughter (age 11) has just started painting, she has painted her first figure (Tommy's War), I must get some pictures!

Someone about to get hitched once asked me if I had a happy marriage. When I answered affirmatively, he asked the secret. I said "Repeat after me....I am sorry, its all my fault."
