This is Fer Miniatures US cavalry which I have slightly converted to a Dragoon.
I removed the lace on the front of the jacket and carved out a line so to fit a shoulder belt. This was made with lead sheet.
Next in line was a sword knot made from masking tape.
Painted with acrylic paint and inks.

Very nicely done. A fine job on a bust that is very difficult to pull off because of its apparent 'simplicity'
Reality is it's a tough paint job and you've cracked it (y)
Cheers

Oh, I like.. simple, but well done.. you brought a plain subject to life.

Thank you all very much for the great comments, really appreciated. A great little bust to paint and another for the cabinet.

A lovely little conversion Bob, very clean & precise with your lead foil shoulder belt addition, & superbly painted as always. Dark blue can be a difficult shade to pull off, but you’ve done it admirably.
Nice addition to your cabinet!

Excellent stuff. Great skin tones.
