US Dragoon dress uniform 1812

I am needing some info on the hussar style jacket worn by us dragoons in the War of 1812. I'm looking for info on the rear turnbacks of the jacket.
I have the Randy Steffen book "The Horse Soldier 1776-1943" which has excellent drawings, but only shows the front and side views. If anyone knows of any other sources that are available please let me know. Thanks for any help.
