Hi Vladi,

looks very good. Fine work on that body armor. These fine folds are amazing. Looks absolutly like real cloth. I think it will be the tank commander. Looks like he is standing in the cupola of an M-113. it´s great that it is an full Figure and not "only" a half. So he can also be used outside his tank. I´m curious about the microphone. That will be one of the eycatching parts on this Figure. I also love the facial expression. He looks like a veteran. Very cool Figure Vladi. Will the other tank raiders also wearing a body armor or more like standart Infantry only sitting on the vehicle. I think both variations would be great looking.
PS: Can you say when your great new Figures (SAS, vietcong sniper etc.) will be aviable?

Greetings

Stefan

Thanks guys!

Yes,Stafan, you`re right.I sculpted him using M113 model (see photo),but I try to make "geometry" of figure maximal independent from tank.Only right arm connects figure with tank and I hope it`ll be good with M48,Sheridan etc.
Now I`m making figure of tank driver (full body too). Both figures will be come as two figure set.
3 SAS figures (resin copies) are ready, now I`m painting them for box-art.I think that after approx 2-3 weeks they`ll arrive to shops.
Vietcong sniper and those tankers will be at Aiutumn.

Warmly
Vladi

Vladi,

Your sculpted figures are probably the best I have seen.
The attention to fine detail is simply amazing.

With all of the Vietnam era subjects you do for the Bravo 6 series, have you ever considered sculpting 1/35 U.S.helicopter crew figures?

Thanks,

Pete

wow Vladi

Hi Vladi, i am Mario from Italy, well i like so much your tanker(but i am waiting for your red and junior sits of Platoon series....too!!),there is the possibility you sculpt another head...i mean you put on the box the same head ,but one with helmet tanker, and one without....(but whit the same face......i mean one face two heads...the only differnce could be one with helmet and one no....!!!) so that ,the same figures without helmet could be used as infantry or marines..and no tanker???Double choice with the same figure....what do you think about it? I bought your first three viet cong from Sockelshop and i like so much, i ll buy for sure this tanker, and the australians....but i ll hope you ll realize same gi or marines in nam, with fighiting poses or the similar poses like your viet cong....i ll wait...obviously....!!!Ps: i buy a good book on marines at Hue:"MARINES IN HUE CITY" of Eric Hammel......do you have this book? Bye and congratulation.Mario.

Cool as always but you make a mistake - goggles, you made after Nam war type. the main diff is in the methode of attaching the strap - in early type it was attached in "holes" made in glass. in modern ones (as you sculped) it attached only to frames (you can read about it in all books about Nam equipment)
regards!
