Hi everyone,

Its been a long time since I have completed a figure, due to commitment to other projects, but I managed to finish this excellent bust from Young Miniatures.

I still need to work on more contrast of the flesh tones on the faces of my figures, hopefully I can improve on the next one.

Also, I would like to thank Jason Miller from Arms Corps Models for the smoke grenade decals, these came in very handy for this project and look fantastic.

Nice job, the weathering and uniform are top notch, and the smoke decals really set it off nicely. He looks really young (no pun intended) as if he is just newly "in country" and not seen to much horror yet.

Les, I'm not sure if Jason is still doing these decals, I know he did have some problems with his equipment and I'm not sure if he's got it sorted out yet.

Well done Jeff, your painting and weathering on this bust are top notch. The decals on the smoke grenades are real time savers. The chipped paint on the radio looks very realistic and the orange dirt and dust looks authentic.

Very nice Jeff..and as you say mate...work on the flesh tones a bit...try a bit more contrast in light and shade...and don't be frightened to experiment with colors..though you are almost there with the flesh already..and the rest is excellent..well done.

Looking good Jeff!
I have received a few emails about the decals I have done for this figure.
I do have a couple of sets left but they are only test prints at this stage and the decal for the radio is not that good. However, the M18 Smoke Grenade markings are fine.
I don't know when I will be able to finish the decal set but I hope it will be soon.
So to all that have emailed me about them, thank you and a payment/availability reply will go out today.

PS Once the Alps is up and running again, I do intend to do this set in 120mm and a couple of other decal sets for different Young Min Busts and other figures.
