I've made a small gallery of some of the most beautiful models on this contest that took place on saturday 22nd and sunday 23rd of april 2006.

note: the gallery is in french but the pics speaks for themselves anyway

It was a really nice show, with a good spirit throughout.

I forgot to mention that the last three pics of the gallery show the Geppetto + Pinocchio scene from Andrea miniatures, and were the subjects of a special contest: three teams composed of two to three persons had to build and paint the whole kit within 24 hours non-stop, from 15.30 saturday to 15.30 sunday. The contestants were quite exhausted but they made it through the night and completed the models you see here. The second one (with Gepetto wearing glasses) won the contest and was painted by members of the Cannoniers de Lille club.

Overall, i heard that the contest didn't meet the same success as the previous edition two years ago, but the models were of very high quality, as you can see
