Bit late to the party Peter, but I agree with the previous comments. Absolutely wonderful finish. What particularly grabs me is how your technique suits these Verlinden kits so perfectly. Unlike many here, my knowledge about the correct colours or shades for facings and lace is minimal, but this is a joy to look at just for the painting style.

Bill - Glad you like him. They are certainly very unforgiving at this scale.
Henk - It's probably the fact that these Derek Holmes busts are quite stylised that means they suit my 'graphic' style. I don't think I will do any more of these large busts as they are taking me along a road that I don't really want to go down technique-wise. Need to get more painterly.
As for uniforms and all that stuff I'm no expert and usually just wing it. I try to get them right, but artistic license is my back-up. Glad you like this one.
