Just received the Bust of the Roman Emperor Vespasian from Yuriy Dymytrashko <[email protected]>
As expected the casting is crisp and sharp with minor mould lines. The bust comes as 6 pieces. Head, body, cloak clasp, two part base and a nice touch the name plate. The face is full of character and the folds in the cloak very well executed.
Dealing with Yuriy was a pleasure and despite having postage delays, due to Covid no doubt, it was worth the wait.

Thanks for the review. From your pictures, it looks like there is an asymmetry between the eyes, perhaps that is just due to the camera angle? Also, could you perhaps comment on how the parts fit together? I'm asking a I have a bit of difficulty picturing the rectangular area around his neck. Will that become part of the chest? Sorry for the questions.

Hi John

Great to see a review from you and on this piece

The sculptor Sergey Alekhno has captured the features really well of a very well fed emperor

Like the addition of the nameplate

It's a interesting way to have the neck area fitting

Thanks for sharing

Hope we see this painted

Can I just add a well done to all companies during the current situation
