Thanks for posting this Roy! I'm delighted we have a precious few brave and thoughtful men such as Mr. Patch still with us. I'm also saddened by the hideous loss of life in the bloodbath of the Great War - men, women and children. Let them not be forgotten.

Whas there in my last week of my vacation. (just 1 1/2 hour drive). It was many of my visits there. Visit again the Lakenhalle in Ieper (Flanders Fields Museum) .Now i was on Hill 60, and in the trenches at Hill 62.
Can't get say no more to this man then: Why did you do this so far away from home ???
Never could understand that: And there where lot off english people out there. Alot off coages out of England traveling around the fields of honour. And you must know there are so many fields of honour..
