Here is Seil’s 54mm US Sniper Vietnam. As with all of Seil’s fine figures, he’s OOP. I may have gotten the last one stateside from Colorado Miniatures a month or so back. I never liked the head, it always looked too squared off. The kit came with a helmet which appears to have been designed to be placed on the base. The kit came with a fret of PE leaves which are in the spares since I wanted more jungle looking flora. The kit also included the tree stump with mushrooms and the rock. The kit base was too large for my base sot it has become a riser for some groundwork in another project. The trousers were my attempt to replicate Tiger Stripe camo. The kit comes with two rifles, one has the arms attached , the other is free standing. The box art shows the extra one with the supplied scope attached. I chose to add the scope to the figure’s rifle by drilling a tiny hole above the bolt and inserting a very short piece of aluminum wire as a support.
