The picture you posted is certainly not the El Viejo Dragon peice,I have it half painted and it is different.

I've seen this one before and I'd always thought that it was a one-off 120mm diorama centered around a stock Verlinden piece (the guy at front centre). In fact I'm sure I've seen it labelled up as such somewhere.

Hi Steve, its 54mm, had one many years ago, son ended up keeping that one from me, so looking for another myself, sent El Viejo and email, they should consider re making this

Do I recall correctly that someone did some mods on the original el Veijo kit to produce this (to my mind better) variant?

I think it was posted on these pages, probably a year or so ago?

The kit is based on the illustration in Osprey Elite No3 (The Vikings) by Angus McBride.

So that makes three versions: the stock el Vajeo one; the version** shown in Marco22's original posting; Balder's, based on scratchbuilds around a Verlinden fig of Olaf.

So, who will own up to the mod?

All are pretty impressive and BoL to Marco22 in finding the kit

*I find that the PF search rarely gets results on searches for such postings, I found a link via Google Images

Just a random thought, MMM seem to have the urge to produce large figure groups with wider diorama potential. So, Ross/Gordon, how about letting Messrs Reid or Corry loose on Angis McBride's painting? Could be a great way to start the decade!

Thanks for clearing that up Neil. I knew I'd seen a similar 120mm version somewhere and your post explains it. I wasn't aware that EVD had done a 54mm version years ago.
