I can imagine that this ship may be useful for Legion miniatures, but a 1/20 Oseberg in metal is a bulky and heavy chunk. Billing Boats has a wooden 1/20 Oseberg, which is slimmer and slightly smaller (86 cm, I think). Still, like Ulrich, I am struggling with finding a place for such a huge ship. I have been looking for a quality wood 1/50-ish Oseberg (about 40cm long) for quite a while. There is of course the Amati model, but it looks rather ugly and features a fantasy dragon head, which has nothing to do with the original Oseberg burial. The best Oseberg I was able to detect was the old Graupner model, but it is a rarity. I know that this is a figure website, but if anyone happens to have the Graupner kit for sale, can you please PM me.

The concept and idea are great......but production cost will probably put this beyond the reach of most of us. I actually still have in my archives a Heller kit of a Viking ship 1.60 scale. Ambitious project to say the least...….Good luck...

Unfortunately I will have to agree.Andrea's viking longship which is in 54mm and not entirely of metal (many resin parts) is by far beyond the reach of a great number of modellers so I imagine that in 90mm it will be very expensive.Still I have to admire this absolutely stunning (and as far as my knowledge allows me to judge),historically accurate creation.Magnificent.......and expensive!

I have to agree with the comments ref cost , possibly a once in a lifetime project .

It's a brave move by Legion and I wish them well with it

Hi guys
Master Sergey spend about 2 years for this special order for me.
At this moment we are preparing this drakkar for production.
I have 5 preorders in Russia and now I am collecting preorders here.
More order - less price.

This drakkar will sell in two options.
1) Drakkar as well.
2) Drakkar + 12 or more figures crew + wikings from Yriy Serebriakov.

For preorders - [email protected]

Sorry guys for a quality but everything are in the process.

2 Yriy will finish till July.
Than one month for manufactoring.
May be I will add 8 figures from Ruslan Vorobiov.
Any case I will finish till octouber.
