Vive l’Empereur! - Based on the painting by Edouard Detaille, this 1/9th scale horse bust was produced by RDG Miniatures. It depicts Colonel Burthe leading the charge of the 4th Hussar Regiment during the Battle of Friedland. This piece is painted in oils, inks and acrylics. The RDG kit was modified by extending the horse’s mane, and replacing some of the decorative leatherwork on the horse furniture with copper wire to more accurately depict those features.
