Not a whole lot of progress with Volgar except the head / horns. Still more to do with both.

Thanks for the kind words Marc, Jay and Ernest. I appreciate them. It has been alot of fun painting this little green fellow and has got me to look at others to follow.

Jay ~ Not a chance

One of the reasons I enjoy an occasional fantasy figure is you can do anything to them. Well I decided Volgar needed some hair and used some Deer hair from Bass Pro Shop's fly-tieing department and gave Volgar a "Hair-do"

Let me know what you think.

Hey Guy,

Thats really cool. It ties in well with the rest of your figure. Looking forward to see the finished figure and hopefully to see it at Atlanta next year!

Hey Guy,

I am not too much into the Fantasy.. but this is cool.
I like the hair.... it really adds something to it.
Your painting, as usual, I really like.

Dee

Thanks John, I started work on the base accessories today and will take some pics when I have some progress.

Guy,

A nice touch and it give's something more. I must admit that i like it more then without the hair. Great idea, and wonderfull executed.
Extremely well done.

Marc

Thanks Jacek, John and Marc. I was getting ready to scratch build a roach head dress for an Indian bust when I thought the hair would also work on Volgar too.

Guy, I think the deer hair adds a nice contrast to the sculpted cape/cloak. Have you thought of painting tattoos on your orc?~Gary
