If i ever visit Russia, i have three plans.

1- meet the russian ladies

2- visit the red square

3- Take some lessons with Andrey

Super work, as usual.

Great, just great. I was thinking perhaps the helmet would be too much, but it adds to the bust perfectly. Well done!

Mario

This really is superb I hope somebody does buy this and puts it out for sale.

Steve
I want to tell to the interested good news, I agreed with the producer and this Bust will have commercial copies in limited circulation. Watch news, copies will appear soon.

Superb realisation and that face is the best I personally have ever seen on any figure. Congratulations on releasing such a great work.

Regards

Ron

in two weeks this bust will be available to purchase. - wait for news.

Some lovely work on this Andrey, nice job (y) The painting of this will be a challenge, I'm looking forward to seeing how people tackle it!

When I do the master model, I very carefully study all materials on the character, a uniform, a fashion of that time, customs.
In light of this you may want to consider reworking the shield. There are a couple of issues with it but the major one is the thickness - just as depicted in the source image you included in the first post shields are actually surprisingly thin.

Unless you need to make the shield that thick to make casting easier it looks like thickness could be reduced by at least half (to be in scale most shields should be something like 1-1.5mm thick at 1/9).

Einion

the shield was made of oak boards and covered with skin, thickness of museum shield . Germany approximately from 28-38 mm that on the scale of 1/9 will make the XIII century 3-4 mm.

in the different countries and at different times shield were made of the different material, different thickness. It is not necessary to compare a real shield which could bear strong blows of a club, a spear and a fighting sword which could reflect arbaletny arrows with souvenir shield which now can be bought in any shop. ))

I want to report wishing that copies of this bust will be available to purchase on Monday. The producer will announce a release in due course
