This seems to be a period you have settled on for a while. Lovely start.
The shoulder scales have a slot in the end for a twist type holder attached to the uniform jacket at the top of the shoulder and a brass slider sewn to the tip of the shoulder. See the attached photo. These are OR shoulder scales, Sncos wore a different type.

"Lovely start" .......thought it was finished ...LOL

So I need to add the brass slider edges in line with the button...tiny piece of putty !!!

Hi Nap,
Pictures via a UK sutlers site, a place where you can get hold of all you Authentic kit for re enactments. Don't worry though you won't see the bottom slider.
