Having just completed these 2x pieces back to back,I thought I would display them as a completed pair.

Both busts have been sculpted by Carl Reid and produced by Stuart Hale at Stormtroopers and Graham Scollick at CGS.

The Stormtroopers bust depicts a sergeant 5th Ln batt, sharpshooters during the heroic defence of the farmhouse La Haye Sainte,Waterloo 1815.

The CGS bust depicts a Coldstream guard 2nd Lt company in the defence of the chateau of hougomount, also at Waterloo.

Both pieces have been beautifully sculpted and both Stuart and graham have done wonderful jobs in the casting, very minimal clean up was required and both kits went together very well.

I converted the Coldstream guard from a centre company to lt company by simply adding the shoulder wings with magicsculp.

I painted the busts with undercoats of acrylic and finished them both in oils with dark star metallics for the metals.
The back drops were Scratchbuilt using balsa block and strip, together with 0.30 plastic card, some embossed brick sheet as well.
I thourgly enjoyed painting these two excellent kits and would highly recommend anyone with a napoleonic interest to buy them.

I thought seeing one was incredible but the 2 of them is just stunning. The paint work has brought them to life! The backdrops look far more complex and expensive than just some balsa and plasticard!!!!
You are a master and nothing less, I tip my hat to you sir :)

Slainte.
