WIP Critique Werner Moelders - Alpine Miniatures - 1/16 - Step 1

Hi,

Started on this excellent Mike Good sculpt for Alpine a while back. Face and cap are now more or less done, except for the strange dirty spot I just discovered on the front of the cap, and the metal buttons on the sides. The wool collar is just pre-shaded and temporarily fixed.

Now looking forward to doing the leather this weekend!

Hope you like him so far. If you see anything that needs fixing, let me know.

Thanks Mike, nice of you to look in. I'm not so sure about the sideway look either. It looked good on the head alone, but in the context of the whole figure I'm not entirely happy with it. Anyway, my plan was to not go back over things all the time and get more figures finished.....so I'll leave it for now and see how much it bothers me during the rest of the painting.... At the moment let's just think young Werner is looking at some hot 'Luftwaffehelferin' passing by....!
