Do you guys have problems finding white baking paper where you live? I can only seem to find the brown kind. Still works, but does the color interfere when trying to mix the right shade?

No, I saw it but didn't use it, I waited to get the right stuff first.
Daler Rowney' do the real membrane and reservoir sheets too as a pack if you can find a mail order stockist

This is the stuff I use:

The important thing is the coating. Go for Silicone coated paper, the most common parchment papers are wax coated which are pretty much useless for a wet palette as wax is, of course, waterproof and therefore won't allow the the water to pass through from the sponge.

Alright, I'll have a look around the supermarkets around my neighbourhood tomorrow. I've definitely seen the white baking paper before, so it has to be around somewhere.

I just found this in a small german online shop for about 3,50 a piece. Went ahead and ordered 3, along with some other stuff I needed.

That's just what they put in it for the picture. I bought the empty ones.
