I shall be ably assisting the folks at the Staffordshire Day celebrations to be held at Wedgwood Visitor Centre on Monday. My wife will also be singing in the choir there, so no doubt it will rain......!(y)

Relaxing in Sunny Suffolk, taking our lady neighbour's Border Terrorist for a long walk over the fields, having a shower, then into the 'toy-room' to paint the reverse side of a tattered battle standard (70mm Alexandros). It's a hard life, being retired.........:D

Friday evening - watch Cardiff vs. Newcastle on internet. We lost.
Saturday - advanced German writing tuition in Konstanz 08:30 to 10:00. Stables. Garage - maybe work on a chopper. Bench time.
Sunday - day - run on a chopper weather permitting (it snowed here today). Evening- Joe Bonamassa concert in Zurich
Monday - supposed to rain. Bench time and navel contemplation. Prapare my head for the week ahead.

Cheers

Looks like you've got a plan Huw. (y) Have a great time at the concert, I missed his UK dates this year.

Thank you Del. I have a plan but probably at some point I will be tired and nod off!! The concert will be my first for Joe B so looking forward to it.

You won't be disappointed, brilliant. Only thing that would make it better was if Beth Hart was 'supporting'. She's touring with her own band this summer DON'T miss her if you get the chance.

Not a Holiday for us here in USA but Denton TX. USA has its Annual Arts and Jazz festival this week-end. They will have 7 stages of music and one stage will be dedicated to the Jazz programs at University of North Texas of Music, the jazz studies. (UNT) The festival is free :D
We have just come in from the concert and the rain held off and it was a great show on the UNT stage. We saw several small groups and the 9 O'clock Lab Band and also the 8 O'clock Lab band. They go all the way up to the One Oclock Lab band which is their best band and the one that does all the recordings for purchase. The 9 through 1 bands play Big Band style jazz. Since the 9 Oclock band was very very good it will give you an idea of the quality of the 1 O'clock Band
Cheers
