ok here are some pics of my workspace. As you can see I've shut of my window so no light from outside can enter my room. i feel it spoils the colours and often a colour looks different at morning than at noon or at evening.

Hi Mike

Tell me about it I said we should really put anew kitchen in and as you can imagine a little bulb appeared above her hgead now I am about to start remodelling downstairs, living room included.

Guy

Now my computer which earns money, I am a systems administrator, webdesigner, computer engineer rolled into one has the spare room. My wife won't let me move teh figures into here, she says sometimes the only time she sees me is as I go from computer room to model room, so I stay under the stairs.

Best wishes

Robin

Hello Robin,
I originally had my computor in another room and found I got far less painting done and combined the two areas when we moved here. I simply drape a dish towel over my keyboard when I am sanding and filing to protect it. I chat with many figurine artist too, as I am painting as I am right now with a paintbrush in my mouth working on a Samurai. After typing I just swivel back around to the desk where I paint and continue........... what methos to our madness

I am actually at my PC watching Band of Brothers ( a Christmas Gift) while waiting for my tea to be done, I hope you got the right end in ya mouth I have put te bristles in so many times I think my front teeth must be camouflaged by now.

Best wishes

Robin

Hey Guys!

Ive got quite a bit of room, a 3 bedroom house all to my self :) I suppose that will all change once I get out of scool and get married though. Here is my desk with most of the nessessities. I'd like be be a neat freak, but it never works out that way, and it always gets messy after a little while of painting.

Here is behind the desk where I store books, figures and everything else.

And finally, this is where I surf planetFigure and other sites at

Fascinating! Well here's mine!

Chaos as usual. It's the 3rd bedroom in the house and it's mine! too much stuff, too much chaos and as such never get anything done, but it's a refuge.....

It gets sorted from time to time, but not as often as i'd like (basically because i'm lazy)

It's the result of years in this hobby, and pure singlemindedness on my part (my other half, Clare, just wishes she could see the floor; although she has plans as it's the only room in the house not decorated yet).

Rob

i have the "little hands" worry as well so glues and sharp things go on the shelves ;)

just one corner of the rec-room where the family spends about 90% of the time..

There's one more upstairs (thank God for wi-fi and sparing me from running Cat-5 throughout the house) and when i get me a laptop I can sit on the porch, bask in the summer sun and do some digi-scribblin...

Yes, Guy and Mike sure do have nice set ups with a view :)

I am very interested with all the future projects on the shelves. I always hide mine and say "Oh I have had it for ages", when the new purchase comes out.
