White Rose Guild of Miniature Painters Xmas Bash

Hi All,
This years White Rose Xmas Bash is at the
Galtres Community Centre
Easingwold
YO61 3AD
Approx. 9.15 to 4.30. Saturday 14th December 2024.

We lost our beloved club mate John Vickers this year and to honour his recognition in the modelling
community we will have the John Vickers Memorial Trophy.
The trophy will be presented to the best ancient figure pre 1500's as this was a period John loved and was inspired by. Hence the style of trophy of Arminius done like bronze.
You will only be custodian for twelve months and must return the trophy at the following Xmas Bash for the next presentation. (or I'll be after you!)

I hope to see to some of you there in attendance putting your best ancients up for display.

I was hoping to make it but unfortunately my wife is away that weekend so I can't.

The perfect opportunity for a bit of "while the cat's away ..." though.

I always go into full-on "Nerd Mode" on the very rare occasions my Mrs disappears for the weekend: Painting orgies well past the witching hour, war movie marathons, heavy metal played very loud .... the lot!
