Hi I know this is not a common scale on this site but I want to do a small diorama in which I need some 1/72 WW1 figures . I know there are a few manufactures who make this scale but not what their quality is like as they only show the box art on their sites . So I'm asking does anyone know which is the best for accuracy , less mould flash etc.
Thanks
chippy

Thanks for the link Martin but I can't find any Zvezda 1/72nd British WW1 british on that site , infact I can't find any on Zvezda home site either . But thanks for the reply
chippy

Wasn´t aware that you are after British WWI Tommies - http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/PeriodList.aspx?period=11#GreatBritain-Infantry

and I agree that it is a loss that Zvezda stopped producing their excellent series of Plastic Soldiers before adding more sets to their WWI series.

Hi Chippy,
Here are a good varied selection of WW1 1/72 scale stuff. Any use? You could have a look at reviews etc to find out the best quality and poses.
cheers
Richie

Depending on the purpose, I wouldn't turn my nose up at Airfix, either. I used their 1/72 WW I figures in the past. In large displays, they work well.

Prost!

Try Barry Williams at W D Models. Some fantastic WW1 figures and vehicles. Some resin and white metal with amazing detail for 1/72. http://wdmodels.com

Billy

Thanks for that link Billy , yes there are some very nice figures on that site and if I had not already order some from another source I would have settled on those . I have bookmarked their page as I have one or two ideas for more WW1 dioramas so thanks for the heads up as I had never heard of W D Models .
Thanks (y) chippy
