I can actually see myself drinking absinthe in a sleazy Paris apartment painting old dogs off the street.

There are many a fine fellow artist(e) have gone along this route..........I tried it myself, without the painting and I have my doubts about the origin of the absinthe

I'll probably give it a miss then Keith, it probably wouldn't help with figure painting, my wife wouldn't be too impressed either.
