Excellent painting, across every section of this bust, you can just see the extra effort that has been put into the face the tartan the leather, the shirt all adding super detail and leaving me wondering how did he paint that,
I have a feeling that you will be getting asked to explain your painting processes, starting off with the tartan, super, super stuff.

I am certain that you will end up with one of the best Segoku samurai ever.I just hope that when you do you will make castings of it too so people like me can buy it and paint it.I have seen your sculpting work and it is simply spectacular!

Oda.
My casting technique is immature, but if I can do acceptable casting as a product, I hope that you and other people will get a copy of my work. Thank you!

Hello TERRY, Thanks for the observation well my work.
I have no special painting method. I think that the technique I used for this work is something that everyone knows.
Japanese modelers have long liked conversion and detail up, and many people think that painting is not important. And sadly, the kind of figures that planet resident likes is not popular in Japan (I am a minority in Japan). So Japanese people are late about figure painting techniques.

this a best interpretation of this bust i ever seen. you almost catched real Mel`s face with your conversion.

i just don't know what to say ... everything looks so real from the skin tones to the fabrics and leathers ... and those eyes ... wow !

Hello Nakatan. Thank you for looking for my work.I've sculpted MAD MAX a long time ago, but the face was not at all similar to Mel.
Because it was an unachieved task for me, I feel that I accomplished one third of the task in this work.

Thank you franck.I think that this work became more real because there is a clear model and there are abundant photo too.

What else is there to say? This is just a stunning piece of work. One of the most impressive pieces I've seen posted on these forums. (y)

Phil
