Thank you Henk. The face is what I liked least in the first version, it really had to be redone. For the leather I have really dark with brown + blue tints and strongly reduced the light areas painted in mahogany brown + orange originally, it's probably a little too dark which in fact lost some variety ...

Very brave to go for a revamp...well worth the risk though you really upped the result.

As to the leather, I understand you reduced the orangy look, but have lost some contrast in the process. You could easily fix this by adding some light sandy tones on selected edges of the leather. This suggests wear, adds contrast and highlights the shape of the leather.
