Thanks guys for the confidence boost, I went through a real crisis of confidence last year and almost packed up completely. I painted a few Demi-Ronds which put me back on stream. Enjoying painting again!

Gary H-yes, you are right, as Dennis confirmed the little Sea Captain is an old Phoenix figure by Tim Richards
Tommi-The Grenadier is the Andrea 90mm figure

Hi Brian, thanks mate, not up to your creative flair I'm afraid(y) That Grenadier was started in 2011 and just sat around for months while I decided if I was ever going to finish it or just stick to Flats.

Hi Keith, I still have the Phoenix Viking & Priest vignette sat on my window shelf. It's been there for better than 30 years. One of these decades it will get done! Crimean reliefs look great.
Best wishes, Gary.

Hi Keith ,

Lovely work especially the bust ..great colours ...like the RN guy ..........

can we still get this range as I really fancy painting some from Tim Richards and Phoenix !!

Good to have you back painting

Steady Gary you're showing your age:D When I was a rep in Bedfordshire, Northants and Herts many years ago I remember going to the Phoenix Workshops and Bob Rowe down at Woburn Sands

Keith
Not really a matter of showing my age, I remember the Phoenix workshop from before they were Phoenix! Back then they were Les Higgins Miniatures. Come to think of it, I guess that is showing my age.
Best wishes, Gary.

Really glad you posted these up Keith, having see them in the flesh at euro last year I thought they were great very well painted and presented,(y)

Brian

Thanks Brian, obviously not to the taste of the Judges on the day, I've had commended's at Euro for poorer pieces and thought I would get something with these-I won't be bothering again!

Cheers mate, may see you at FW depending when I get back from World Expo at Stresa.
