Have to say I do like the first pose, just looks right to me . The others are good but that just says it for me.

I know I will make a few enemies but I have to speak my mind on this one.In order to be fair I will say that it is obvious that Pwa is a talented artist and he (as I have seen this work on VK I know that the artist is probably a male hence the "he")has put a lot of work on this. The level of his technical skill is beyond criticism but as it goes it all comes down to research and Japanese armour is a notorious pitfall for many modelers (myself included).Having said that and after having added that I am not a certified expert on the subject, just a passionate amateur with many hours of study I must stress the fact that there are quite a few mistakes/omissions and "blurry" points on this one.I will leave it here.Pwa mate I hope I wasn't unfair to you.I think you have got what it takes to make a masterpiece samurai if you take care of a few details and special points.
Wish Felix was still here to add his considerable expertise on this one.

Oda.

Oda, I can't take offense at your fair points. I thank you for that! Unfortunately, it's very difficult to be an expert in all the nuances that I have to mold. Very often the work can not be shown before the release at the request of the customer, and it is good when there is a person who knows the subject, and can give valuable advice during the work. But it happens that there is no such person, then I have to study the subject myself and at the same time to give an acceptable result and not to delay the work. Armor in general is a difficult thing to sculpt, and the armor of the samurai is damn complicated, and I deliberately go to some simplifications, otherwise I'm afraid that I will never finish work. I think this is not the last samurai figure I'll make, so I'll have more time to explore this issue in more detail.

Viktor.

Viktor, you are one exceptional artist, this is more than obvious and your samurai is, generally speaking, quite good.Even as it is,it will satisfy more than 50% of the modelers I know.I am what you call a rivet counter, when it comes to samurai and I do not mind.
All your points are fair and accurate.I am happy that you will not stop making samurai and I am certain that one of your future works will become part of my army and give me many hours of painting pleasure.
I am glad you did not take offense because mo offense was meant on my side.
I have nothing but respect for your artistic skill and vision and all my remarks were meant to be constructive.
I am on VK and I will try to find you and send a friend request although this might be a little tricky as I do not speak or read Russian.
I will follow your work.
Best regards,
Oda.

Aris, of course! Perhaps you wouldn't mind, sometime in the future, prompting me for a proper depiction of all the rivets!

Best regards,
Viktor.

I am no authority on the subject, far from it,but all my books and material are at your disposal as is of course my free time.I love discussing armour with others.I always come out knowing a little more than before

Oda.

I like the full figure.

The positioning of the daisho of swords looks very odd on the bust. Perhaps they are just placed there for the photo but should be at waist level.
