My giant (200 mm) figure for a Dutch Marine in Afghanistan is ready and primed.
Can anybody put me in the right direction for painting a Woodland Camo on this scale.
I'm looking for the basecolor in Vallejo Air and how to paint the pattern on this scale.
have a look at this thread from Tony. It´s a great SBS and awsome looking FIgure. It´s Vietnam era but i think the technik will work for your Figure well.
Thanks Stefan,
But Tony has the advantage of sculpted details for the camo.
That doesn't mean it isn't not difficult enough. Tony that a great job.
Thanks for the article. Great help.
Now, gonna look for a tabel that calculate from Vallejo to oilpaint....
Thanks Carl.
Any idea for oilpaintmix.
The figure is now airbrushed with Vallejo US NATO GREEN as base. So i only have to made the camo in the chocolate brown, iraqi sand and black.
And as usual with Oilpaint.
Hey Marc
Stop making excuses an get some paint on him! Hahaha
I can't wait to see what you do with him.
Iv got an app on my iPhone that gives me a conversion chart for all paints it's called "imodelkit" if you can get it let me know your paints and I'll find out the equivalents
Pete,
Thanks for your help.
I don't use cellphone's, I have a homephone, and a small cellphone (almost 7 years old now) that I use when my bicycle broke down.
If i'm not at home they should call me back. I don't wanne be a slave of the phone, and don't wanna be available for everybody any moment of the day.
Gonna look for the RAL numbers if i can find them.
