Just sent in my payment. After some quick research it appears the Super 8 in St Charles is just down the road, not fancy but at $51 a night, should be fine. (Beats the hell out of some of the bunkers I've slept in...) Is there a "packing list" of what we should bring? (e.g.: opti-visor, stay wet pallette, favorite brushes, etc.) I'm sure the hobby shop has supplies too.

Thanks a million for setting this up! I just sent a link to the Military Miniature
Society of Illinois group. This should be a great few days.

Gordy and I have been preparing a preliminary document with additional info for those who have reserved a seat (and already paid it, in your case ;)).
There you'll find all info about the "packing list" but I can tell you beforehand that the seminar will include a set of top quality Marta Kolinsky brushes for each attendant provided by Vallejo. You should be receiving the document today by mail.

Feel free to tell anyone you want about the workshop. There are still some seats unreserved (not too much, BTW!).

Regards
FeR

Excellent! Thank you Tony, your seat is now secure ;)

As Fernando mentions a welcome email is on it's way with details on what to bring, etc.

And yes by all means, we need to get some of the Chicago and Illinois crew on board to! Thanks!

Just had a look online at Southwest Airlines. A roundtrip flight from El Paso, TX to St Louis, MO leaving on 1 SEPT and returning 5 SEPT was only $117!!!!!!!!!!!. That's NOTHING when you consider the price of gas! Heck, I can't even drive across the state of Texas for that much. This is looking more and more likely I will be attending. Uncle Sam permitting of course.....

I can't wait for the class to begin, when you first approached me about the idea I thought that it would be an awesome feat if you could pull it off!

I am contacting my buddy Bob Bethea to see if wants to attend as well.

New World Miniatures will donate kits to those who attend, why not support the figure world!

All we need now is a small figure auction or raffle to help with next years seminar.

Looking forward to hooking up with everyone.
