I'm really delighted that the workshop had such a great welcome. As Gordy said, everything has worked out far better beyond our initial expectations. I was sure that we would be filling the seats avalaible but, in just 5 days! Wow...
This succesful response just means one thing. We will have to host more of these workshops in the future!

I can't wait for the class to begin, when you first approached me about the idea I thought that it would be an awesome feat if you could pull it off!

I am contacting my buddy Bob Bethea to see if wants to attend as well.

New World Miniatures will donate kits to those who attend, why not support the figure world!

So, where are most of the out-of-towners staying for this?

It looks that as you get closer to the casinos, the hotel rates go up. (no surprise based on it being a long weekend).

I looked at Embassy Suites and is is just as cheap as anything decent in the area of Old St Charles/Casinos. It's $101(full prepaid) right now online and calling the hotel directly I was quoted $119. Also, Wifi cost you $10 a day if that is important to you.

So Right now I'm leaning toward the Embassy Suites just for convenience, but if not, I'll probably go up the road to Country Inn and Suites as the are $75 and it sounds like they remodeled recently based on the ratings.

I need to decide very soon though.
