I'm staying at the Embassy suites now. Staying in the same hotel as the class just adds too much value for me to overlook. I also like the fact that they have a refreshment area.

Yeah, it's easier to stagger to the elevator :)

I'll book in a few after Gordy gets back from the hotel. He was going to ask if they had any promotion codes, but I'm not holding my breath.

Okay, I'm booked! Always liked Embassy Suites when we could stay at them. Just have to find a cheap flight from Cleveland and I'm set! August is gonna drag now...

*** Update July 21 ***

The room we had original planned to use to hold the workshop will be too small for 20+ guests. In a scramble, I've have booked the Augusta room across the highway at the Embassy Suites. It's an important cost, but necessary to get a convenient place for the seminar and will accommodate everyone comfortably.

The Embassy Suites (Augusta Room) venue is larger, plenty of power, tables, climate control, security to leave items and equipment over night and access to a cafe, restaurant and bar.

We have 23 confirmed guests, Fernando has accepted to teach two additional guests for a total of 25 which leaves two available seats.

Grab them while you can!

More exciting news to follow!

Basic question:
For mixing paints what technique do you use? a wet pallet, artists well type pallet or other technique?

As palette, I use empty chewing gum or pharmacy pills' blisters. Is more or less as an artist well palette but quite smaller. Also, you can put them in the freezer to preserve any mix during 2 or 3 days ;)
