WW1 Brit Officers Service Burberry Lining?

Hi all!

After doing a bit of research I have discovered that the Burberry Check was designed in the Early 1920's ...

My question is does anyone know what these coats where lined with? I have seen an advert from the period showing some form of tartan but its just a B&W illustration.

Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance..

Mark it would depend on whether it was a supplied uniform or tailored. If it is during the war it would have been aa standard khaki lining. However, if it was pre-war you could see some tailored variation.
