I haven't begun to assemble the Chauchat yet... which is ok because it probably won't fire anyway.

Hey Nap... you are correct. After painting the two wider blue stripes on each edge of the ribbon I was left with just over 1 mm of space in the center of the ribbon in which to paint the 5 narrow stripes. I wasn't able to do it to my satisfaction, so I decided to create a different medal for Jean Pierre... the Merde du Chauchat!
