A little bit of progress on Otto's leather jacket. Still not satisfied and am going to try fooling around with a little glaze to give the leather a leather sheen.
He's starting to look the business Rick. I'd be happy with the leather myself. Maybe just a wee bit of wear on the cuffs and seams with some very dry brushing of a tan colour. The leather jerkins British Army drivers wore suffered the most wear where the left arm continually rubbed them while shifting gears. I've got a WW2 vintage one which has been patched on the LH skirt, which was quite common. That said, these German leather coats were often of horse hide and probably a bit harder-wearing.
