Hi everyone,
I hope these are useful reference colour plates, they are of WW1 British Territorial Regiments. If you have not checked out the Reference section please do so as I have posted numerous photo's from the D.L.I. and Green Howards Museum's for you all to use.
A big thank you to Gordy for guiding me through the process to upload them.
enjoy
Richie

Hi
Forget to tag them.
Running from the top left to right they are;

The Royal Garrison Artillery, The Cameronians, The Highland Light Infantry, The Royal Gloucestershire Hussars, The Royal Engineers, The Kings (Liverpool Regiment) 19th (Scottish) Battalion and finally the Manchester Regiment (6th Battalion has yellow facings).

There are only three men to have received two Victoria Crosses, and one of them Noel Chavasse was attached to the Liverpool Scottish,their uniform was rather unique too. For both reasons I have a slight interest in this unit. For your information, the 8th battalion was the Liverpool Irish.
These illustrations look like Caton Woodville paintings to me, are they?
Tom

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the info. Yes these are by Richard Caton Woodville. I just thought they might be of interest some one who has a passion for this period.
cheers
Richie
