Here's my latest (and apologies for the photographs - I really need to sort out a camera)
Anyway it's the 54mm casting by Roger Saunders. I went for the black coat/trouser combo, based on what I understand the Earp's favoured for dress. Originally intended a fancy waistcoat, but decided to go with a grey silk one to keep with the monochromatic theme that was developing. (You'll also notice the star is silver rather than gold/brass which seemed more likely for the same reason; in fact I wondered about repainting the coat buttons)
I wanted the eyes to be quite 'starey' (Not sure that's a word, but hopefully you know what I mean; I wanted them to stand out of the face)
Everything painted in acrylics (This'll be my third figure and I'm stating to get more of a feel for them I hope)
Base is Polyfilla/road dust with a small piece of 'sidewalk' from balsa.
Hope you like it - the casting was really nice quality and a pleasure to paint.
Cheers
Paul
