I want to show you a (not at all) small "in between project" in the coming days!
I'm going to marry my wonderful Tanja on January 5th - almost one year to the day after our engagement!
First of all, I had to look for a suitable Christmas present - and I came up with the idea of giving Tanja myself, so to speak - in scale of 12 cm!
Four years ago I once had a color 3-D print done by myself, which was a special offer at "Saturn Hansa" when this new technology came onto the market.
The print itself is quite neat (maybe a little rough!), but I recognize myself.
The color, however, wasn't that great, just simply printed on it. So I thought to myself: "You can do that better than this machine!"
The ink was carefully peeled off and the thing re-primed.
I only left the skin areas - hands and face / neck as they came out of the printer years ago - as a kind of primer for later refinement.
Since I don't know what material the 3-D print is made of or how it reacts to my colors, I started out with the back part of my beloved old leather jacket, which has accompanied me since my student days - and which I still wear fit in, even if it is now much tighter around the belly than before ...
I worked with these colors ...
... and for the beginning I am quite satisfied ...:
