G'day all,
I wasn't to sure where to put this as it is not painted so please excuse me for placing it in the painting forum.

A mate of mine Jim asked me if I could do up a decal of the markings seen on the M18 Smoke grenade. So, away I went. And below is how it turned out. Now this is only the test shot, and it still needs a bit of work. I can re-size them for 120mm figures if there is much interest.
I'm also working on the text etc seen to top of the ANPRC 25/77 set for the bust.

So the question is, any interest??? Cost should be under $10AUD for the smoke/radio decal.

I should have also mentioned that there will be 8 decals for the smoke. So 2 for each color. And 2 sets of decals for the radio face.

Jason, I'm not sure which ones are period pieces in the pics I found but the type could do with being a little lighter if the one on the left here is typical. EF TV Nord is also closer, in case you have it or another gothic sans, instead of Helvetica/Arial.

Thanks for the comments team. I seem to have started something here. I keep on getting orders/ideas now for all sorts of decals for large scale figures and for 1/35th.

I think that my text is a bit "thick/bold". I am basing the grenade on the one I have on my bench. So I will go back to the art work todday and try your idea.

Just a small update.
This is how the decal sheet should look. Obviously the markings will be in white.
The radio decals still need to be resized, but I think it is looking good.

hi Jason, I to have this kit just arrived on the work bench. Would be keen to buy the decals also, I had been wondering how to represent them, using lettraset or similar. so these could be the answer. Cheers Les

I'd buy 120mm and 200mm sets.
Get some German stick grenade decals on there as well and you've got yourselves a winner.

G'day all,
Here is a low res version of the final artwork for the decals.
I have printed a couple off and will test them this weekend.
Photo's to follow on Sunday night.

Yeah thanks mate.
The first run failed due to low res settings with the white and the top of the kits radio is not 100% accurate.
Jim nailed it in one. My wife (a likely story) has crashed my car thou the roller door of my workshop into the computer and printers associated with the decals and my sculpting/sratchbuilding desk. At this stage the computer is a right off (HD to be checked) and the Alps has sustained damage.
I hope to have an update soon.
Thanks for all the guys interest in the decals and I will try to get them out as soon as I can.
