Really !! Typical of Young Miniatures, they like to recycle their figures to get the most out of them . Take a look at the WW II US fighter pilot, do you see a resemblance? I think that the sculpt is very well done, but lets be real.

Very nice but the face (is) similar to the USAAF one shown above. That said, with the resin sun visor replaced by clear acetate or similar to prevent it looking in this scale like something adorning a samurai helmet rather than a flying helmet, it will be very popular indeed.

I want it as well, is this a WIP? It doesn't look the usual crisp Young's sculpt, straps on goggles look weird as well, will have to google this to find out, but having been to 40's days and talking to re-enactors about flying kit, these just look plain wrong. I hope Young does the decent thing and casts a clear lens or leaves a small gap so we can put the clear lens in ourselves. Headrest and cockpit structure is a very nice addition.
