I like many aspects of this super detailed figure but the upper part shows a wooden stiffness of neck and spine that does not convey the weight of the weapon while leaning forward. I carried that weapon for a while in my squad within the Bundeswehr when we used a slightly modified version of the MG 42 - called MG 3 and I remember the weight when it was operated on the move. Usually the sling of the weapon was carried around the neck and clipped with one end to the barrel housing to support the weightload while firing the weapon from the hip. That said - nice figure.
