A fantastic bust Yury. Your 75mm Romans are my favorite sculpts, I'm a big fan. This is easily the best Landsknecht sculpt I've seen.

Andreas, I've looked and looked and I'm still not sure what makes this an early 16th century Landsknecht rather than a late 16th century one (or early 17th for that matter)

This is almost freakishly too good. It's simply a spectacular piece of work.
Let's assume we had no sense of scale and were handed a photo saying recently discovered masterpiece in bronze of a 16th Century mercenary. You would be utterly convinced.

Yury is producing this bust himself in Russia & I am delighted to say that I am getting a supply very soon. The final price is yet to be determined, but it will be in the mid-£30's. My supply has been posted by Yury this weekend - so I hope to have them in 7/10 days time.
Just as a reminder, here's a pic of the castings as sent to me by Yury. Despite me not going public on this until now, a number of people have spotted the pics on my site, so I already have a number of pre-orders. I will be getting more in, but if you want one of the first batch, please contact me asap. Happy to ship worldwide.

Just got mine today, What an amazing piece of sculpting, the casting is good and the undercuts and textures are great. The face is amazing, the feathers are superb as well. Also I would like to add that the packaging is unusual, all in a capped tube style box, with images on the outside.......
